Introduction
A native of North Carolina, Dr. Lloyd Clark graduated from Duke University and attended medical school and interned at the University of North Carolina. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. From there, he received subspecialty training in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, under Dr. Hilel Lewis.
Dr. Clark has been in practice in Columbia since 2000. His research interests include emerging therapies for retinal vascular disease, endophthalmitis, and telemedicine. He has particular interest in the surgical management of complex retinal detachment and complications of cataract surgery.
Dr. Clark is married to Catherine Hudson and has two children, Braxton and Chrismon.
