The Leading Retina Center in South Carolina
Palmetto Retina Center is the largest retina-only ophthalmology practice in South Carolina, with seven office locations in Columbia, West Columbia, Northeast Columbia, Sumter, Aiken, and Florence. Our retina specialists and surgeons provide state-of-the-art diagnostic care and treatment for all retinal conditions, including macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and detachments, macular holes, macular puckers (epiretinal membranes), uveitis, and more. We also treat pediatric retinal conditions (retinopathy of prematurity, retinitis pigmentosa, retinoschisis, etc.).

Our standard-of-care treatments include vitrectomy, scleral buckle, and eye injections (Avastin, Eylea, and Lucentis). We are also actively involved in retinal research and offer our patients access to many cutting-edge clinical trials to help develop new standards of care.
